This project is focusing on landmark events in the UK between 1986 and 2014, a time period when the artist was absent from the UK. This project is trying to mirror the earlier artist's project-Links 2012-14, when Mo was focusing of his memories from Iran over the same period of time.
This series of works can also have been seen as a way for artist to familiarise and educate himself on the subject of British history.

This project has formed around the artists memories and connection to his past years-living in Iran. He has focused on his past memories and the links that connect them to his experiences of being in England. His paintings are structured observations that mirror two different cultures at the same time, redefining himself within a bi-cultural identity.

It was an autumn night, around midnight. After spending a day in galleries I was on my way home from the Mahtab Cafe´.
I got onto a bus which had a few passengers and I sat on the last seat, and started looking at the passengers of whom I just could see their back of their heads. Some of them had fallen asleep, some were looking out and two of them were talking together.
I believe it’s really superb that you are able to watch people who have no control on you. By doing this you can probe into their character, think, search and analyse them. Actually it’s like an individual and shallow search which could be transformed to a collective and deep one.
